The 2010 Wine Bloggers' Conference was a great opportunity to meet some of the awesome people in the wine business, people who don't normally surface in my fair state of Texas. There are so many different ways that I have been able to experience the wine country life here in the Lone Star State, and one of the ways that I have kept up to date with what is going on in the wine industry in California is by listening to Wine Biz Radio on a weekly basis.
The power duo of Richard Kasmier, known by all as "Kaz", and Randy Hall has been recently joined by Christophe Smith, known alternately as "Boy" and now "Mr. X". The show is a great blend of information and interviews on a variety of wine topics, and a delightfully random dose of entertainment value. The show is off-beat and fun, but also gets access to some of the most interesting people in the wine industry.
I was able to site down with the guys and talk about their show, and how they all came together originally. This was a really fun interview to do, and I found that the chemistry that Kaz and Randy have with each other meant that they could practically interview themselves. If you aren't already listening to the show, make sure and check them out on their website and also follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
