The Good
You guys know that I'm a punk rocker from way back, so I had no choice but to select this awesome post as The Good for this week. Matt does a great job of expressing the reasons why I blog about wine, not to mention the fact that he references underground music, and handmade rock 'zines. I like it!
The Bad
If I don't stop writing about this issue in every installment of this feature, I may have to change the name to The Good, the BS Wine Shipping Laws, and the Ugly. Tom Wark has once again written a post that has forced me to include it in TGTBTU, so you may have to look for a name change next week.
The Ugly
I keep trying to get away from this topic, but just when I'm out, they pull me back in. All of this mess started with the advent of Steven Tanzer's new blog, and more specifically his About page (which has since been edited), where he took some swipes at wine bloggers. This prompted kick-ass responses from Steve Paulo, Josh Sweeney and Dale Cruse (I purposefully witheld my own response, but rest assured, it would have been kick-ass too.) I am now back out of this issue, hopefully to stay.
That's it for this week, so remember to drink well, drink often, and drink local.

I missed Matt’s post this week. Actually, I’m not entirely sure I’ve even read his blog before. I’m correcting both those issues right now. Any hardcore music / wine guy is my kind of people.
Yep, Matt’s a bad-ass wine dude, and one of the wino underground music cult (I’m calling it that until I come up with something better). Good people for sure.
Oh, and I forgot to mention I’m honored to be in my first TGTBTU, even if it’s under the ugly part
Yeah, maybe I should have been more clear that Tanzer was the Ugly, and that you guys were just the kick-ass followup.
An honor as well for me…. thanks Ben. Haha, let me know when you come up with that name for the punk rock wine bloggers… we’ll have to come up with some patches and t-shirts and sell them at a loss! Cheers you guys- Matt
